Living dangerously. #tagp
Diente de Madera – Sister (Buenos Aires)
I recorded my song sitting on the couch of the one room apartment i share with my girlfriend. It was raining heavily outside, and winter. I am left-handed, so I had to write my song upside-down, which was an interesting experience. the high ceiling in the room is why everything echoes.
Juels Bland – Songbirds (Washington DC)
I recorded this song in my living room at about 9 in the morning. The recording device and I got off to a rocky start. In the end, I believe we came to terms with one another.
AnaHata – Let’s See (Seville)
I recorded the song in my living room around 5 p.m. in July in Seville… quite a challenge!
Marc Teamaker – Tag (Chicago)
I wrote and recorded the song in my apartment over the weekend. I was in and out throughout the process because I wanted to record it with a fresh and relaxed approach as though I was performing it for the first time. I think I used the third or fourth take.
Olivia De La Cruz – The Frames (Seattle)
I was recording in my dining room, sitting on the arm of a couch and singing toward the recorder which was propped up by someones red sweater. It was about midnight, feeling exhausted, but passionate. Take 26 was the one.
Exzavier Whitley – Drifting Away (Los Angeles)
I sat on the edge of my bed, around 6:15 pm during a overcast in the sky, i felt kind of blue while writing this song, so i wrote down how i truly felt at that time.
Raffa Jo – Call In (Miami)
This was recorded in the middle of a muggy Miami night with the help of my friend… because i need tech support when button-pressing is involved.
Rachel Levitin – From Scratch (Washington DC)
I recorded this song while sitting on my couch after a day at work with the sun coming through my windows. My refrigerator took a minor break from buzzing so I took that opportunity to record within my studio apartment in NW DC. This was take number five.
Final shoot in #nashville with @carolinastory hearing their song for the first time. #beautiful #moment #birth of a new song!
Lorenzo Malvezzi – Un Attimo In Più (Genoa)
Erin Ross – Summer Livin’ (Calgary)
I recorded [Summer Livin’] in my parents basement… I have a construction site next to my house right now so I sought out the space and quiet of their house.
